Aloe vera is from the kingdom of Plantae, Class: Liliopsida, Family : Asphodelaceae, Genus : Aloe Species: A .vera and Zoological name : Aloe Vera.

There are many different names of aloe vera like Ghirita, Aloe curacao, Venezuela aloe, Indian alces, Lu hui, Cape aloe, Barbadoes aloe and Star Cactus. It is mainly found in India and it is cultivated throughout the India. Common places to find it is Gujarat, Mumbai, South India, tropical and sub tropical.

There are more than 400 species of Aloe vera. Some of the names are -- Aloe Barbadensis Miller, Aloe Forex , Aloe Chinensis, Aloe Lalifolia, Aloe Variegata, Aloe Saponaria , Curacao Aloe, Aloe arborescens , Aloe aristata, Aloe dichotoma, Aloe nyeriensis, Aloe variegate, Aloe barbadensis and Aloe wildii.
