How aloevera juice help to soothe over allergy burns?

I often suffer from the allergy burn and heartburn problem. Whenever I eat some spicy or oily food, I get heart burns. I am on steroids and had a bad reaction to an olay product. I am bit scared to use any product. Somebody has suggested me about aloevera and its juice. I want to know more about the aloevera and how it will help on my burns. Please suggest.
