How can I protect my aloe vera plant?

I am forty years old and live in Georgia. I have a small garden in which I have grown some aloe vera plant. I have put only three aloe vera plant in my garden and now it has increased to ten. I am using its leaf to make aloe vera juice and gel. My health has also improved because of the aloe vera juice. Now I am noticing that the color of the leaf has changed to reddish brown and shrinking. Please suggest me how I can protect my aloe vera plant.

Aloe Vera plant contains around 95 percent water in its leaf so it requires less water. It mostly grows in the hot climate. There are around 250 types of aloe vera species are available in this world but only few has proven for health benefits. One of them is Aloe barbadensis. Aloe Vera plant requires sufficient sunlight for the better growth. If does not get the sunlight or there is excess sunlight then it may damage color of leaves. So keep your aloe vera plant at a shaded place where they get sufficient sunlight. Soil is also very important for the growth of aloe vera plant. You can mix sand, perlite and pumice in the soil and put it in the aloe vera plant. Redness of the leaves may be because of excess of water. Leave the plant for sometime to dry. Always pour water when the soil is completely dry.
