How can I reduce my dark complexion with Aloe Vera?

I don’t have much money to go for any high treatment or costly creams to reduce my dark complexion. So, I have been looking for the inexpensive or any natural treatment for my skin. I came to know about the aloe Vera. Just wanted to know how these plants help to reduce the complexion and mange skin protection.
