Is Aloevera juice effective in treating hemorrhoids?

I am forty years old and suffering from external hemorrhoids. It is very painful during bowel movement. I am using home remedies which give me relief for sometime. I do not want to go for any surgery. I have heard that Aloevera juice is effective in treating hemorrhoids. Please suggest me.
