Is aloevera an effective remedy for skin ulcers?

I am suffering from ulcers problem. It is on my leg and back. I feel very uncomfortable with the ulcers problem. I have used some home remedies but it only work for some time. I want permanent solution to get rid of this skin ulcer. I have heard of aloevera plant so can anyone tell me is aloevera effective for skin ulcers.
