Is it true that Aloevera plant is good for treating eczema and healing skin burns?

From few days I am feeling burning effect and pain in my leg. That part of my skin has become itchy and looks like it is burned. I have consulted with my family and friends. They told me that it is a sign of eczema. They suggested me to use Aloevera product as it takes long time to go. Can anyone suggest me is Aloevera plant is effective in treating eczema.
