Is it true that aloe vera is good for treating acid reflux?

I am little bit overweight and sometime suffer from acid reflux problem. It makes me uncomfortable and gives burning sensation. I also get irritable bowel disorder which gives lots of pain and irritation. I have taken several medicines like antacids and prilosec for treating my acid reflux. But now I want to use some herbal product and home remedies to get rid of this. I wan to know about the aloe vera plant and its product. Is it useful and good for treating acid reflux? Please give some required information about aloe vera and acid reflux.

Many people have seen success with aloe vera for acid reflux. Acid reflux which is also known as gastroesophageal reflux disease occurs due to the damage of lower esophageal sphincter. The sphincter is a muscle which is responsible for keeping food and refluxed stomach acid in the stomach. Due to the damage it causes heartburn, constipation and makes the patient uncomfortable.
Aloe vera is very useful medicine and helps to treat many health problem specially stomach and skin problem. You can use aloe vera for acid reflux as it contains anti-inflammatory properties which give relief from burn condition and irritable bowel problem. Its properties help to strengthen the weak muscle and make it strong. You can drink aloe vera juice as it contains aloe vera latex which is very useful in treating irritable bowel disorder. Its coating properties heal the esophageal erosions and gives relief from burn. You can prevent acid reflux problem by taking healthy diet and avoiding acidic foods, alcohol and fatty foods.
