First of all you need to select the right pot for planting aloe vera. There must be a hole present at the bottom of the pot for complete drainage. Because the aloe vera contains lot of water and excess water may completely destroy or frost the plant.
A good quality soil is required for the plant. Adding rocks, small pebbles in the soil leads to fast draining process.

Aloe vera plant must be watered once in a week. During summer season, it is good to put the aloe vera plant outside for few minutes for getting enough sunlight.
